I hope all my US followers enjoyed their Thanksgiving weekend. We spent a very quiet day and I sketched out some ideas for future classes and blog posts.

We are on the threshold of December, so I am sharing a traditional style Christmas card using Merry Merlot and Old Olive for my basic colors.

• Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Merry Merlot Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 2 1/4 Old Olive Card
• Layer 2: 5 x 2 Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper
• Layer 3: 2 1/4 x 1 1/4 Very Vanilla layered onto 2 3/8 x 1 3/8 Old Olive Card
• Ink Color: Merry Merlot and Old Olive

I cut a 2 1/4″ Circle from Very Vanilla Card, using the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set stamped one of the trees to the left hand side, then stamped another tree on a scrap of Very Vanilla card, cut with the Pine Tree Punch then popped it up with a couple of Stampin Dimensionals. A scattering of gold Metallic Pearls and a cute little bow using the Old Olive ribbon in the All the Trimming Ribbon Combo Pack
