Ink . Stamp . Share Blog Hop ~ Christmas

Once again  I am thrilled to be taking part  in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop,  we are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!

You will have either arrived from Deb Naylor’s  post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . This month’s theme is CHRISTMAS ~ this is my first Christmas card for 2019!

We are still having 90+F temperatures here in North Texas and it is a little difficult to think of Christmas so I have gone with contemporary colors that sound ‘summery’ ~ Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana!

Card Base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Bermuda Bay Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Coastal Cabana Card

Layer 2: 4 1/4 x 3 Bermuda Bay Card

Layer 3: 4 x 2 3/4 Whisper White Card

Ink Color : Coastal Cabana and VersaMark

I chose the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set along with the coordinating Pine Tree Punch (available as a bundle – 10% discount!).  Layer 1 is stamped randomly using the Tone-on-Tone technique, a strip of Bermuda Bay 1/4 Mini Striped Ribbon added before attaching to the card base with 4 – 5 Stampin Dimensionals.

The greeting is heat embossed with Silver Embossing powder.  The layer is attached to the Bermuda Bay layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive then attached to the base card with 4 – 5 Stampin Dimensionals.

The tree has been stamped onto scraps of Whisper White and Coastal Cabana before being cut with the Pine Tree Punch and a third tree cut from Silver Foil Card, this one is adhered direct to the card with Liquid Adhesive and the other two trees are popped up on Stampin Dimensionals.  A scattering of Rhinestone Basic Jewels and I am done!  Just love it 🙂

I have some videos showing some of the techniques I used – check them out!
