Home decor is a particular favorite of mine to create. Once I have my theme, I usually start with some Designer Series Paper, then pull out ribbon, embellishments and card that will go with the papers, then I go to work.

I had a request from my ladies for seasonal 8 x 8 samplers they could display, so we started with summer and will continue with the Fall themed one in August. The starting point for me is the beautiful Hydrangea Hill DSP – which is still available for a few more days, so please get your order in now to avoid disappointment 🙂

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 Gorgeous Grape Card
• Layer 1: 8 x 8 Highland Heather Card
• Layer 2: Each of the squares measure 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
• Layer 3: Longer Basic White panel measures 5 x 5 1/4
• scraps of Pear Pizzazz, Basic White, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Seaside Spray Card
• Ink Color: Pear Pizzazz and Highland Heather

The butterflies and dragonfly are cut from Vellum Card, to bring thru the garden theme I was able to add the Ladybug Trinkets and Bumblebee Trinkets. I used a combination of Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, Mini Glue Dots and Stampin Dimensionals to attach the different elements.
