Happy June! In the early part of last December I had a class to create a flip over calendar, everyone loved it and made me promise we will do another later in this new year! I thought I might start each month this year by posting the page for that month, so today I share, June, which you can see has bright, cheerful blossoms with butterflies as its theme.
- Base Card: 5 1/2 x 4 Magenta Madness Card
- Calendar Layer : I have to admit I purchase these, I had no trouble creating the calendar on my computer but the trimming and centering was way beyond my skills set!
- Ink Color: Magenta Madness and Shaded Spruce
The stamp set is Field of Flowers (which has now retired) but there are others available to give the same effect. The butterflies are cut from Gold, Silver and Copper Foil Sheets and embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder before attaching with Mini Glue Dots.
As I work thru the year some of the products used might have retired, however you may have them in your stash or find a suitable alternative, either way enjoy 🙂
