There is a little rhyme that goes….. Blue and Green should never be seen without some Yellow in between! As a youngster I was told I could not wear green as I had blue eyes! As I got older I decided to go against that advice as I really do like that color and started wearing it. The various greens in the Stampin’ UP! family are just lovely and I have combined Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Parakeet Party in today’s layout.

I chose a very traditional layout with 2 picture panels and a journaling panel on the left hand side. I also love shine and sparkle so turned to the Splendid Day decorative paper pack to add some silver which goes so well with green.

Layer 1: 11 x 8 1/2 Evening Evergreen Card

Layer 2: 10 1/4 x 7 3/4 Parakeet Party Card

Large Photo Panel: 7 x 4 Basic White Card

Small Photo and Journaling Panels : 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card

I used the Splendid Thoughts Stamp Set for my titles and decorations along with the Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon and the Flowering Trinkets embellishments.

I know not everyone is into scrapbooking – the various elements on this page can be used to make a very pretty Celebration card – check back on Sept 7th to see the card I created from them.
