Check out this cute lil’ guy – I just love his cheerful face and his gift ready for giving! I used the Penguin Place Stamp Set with the coordinating Penguin Builder Punch. While I have made this a Christmas Card there are lots of different greetings within the stamp set to use the same design for a birthday, thank you or friend card – very versatile.

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic White Thick Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 x 3 3/4 Pool Party Card
• Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
• Layer 3: 3 1/2 x 3/4 White Glimmer Paper
• Ink Color: Tuxedo Black, Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party and Garden Green

I started with my blending brush and a little Pool Party ink, then added the trees with Garden Green, stamping each tree twice before reinking the stamp to give different depths of color. Then the greeting, little snowflakes and the little gift! I added a strip of White Glimmer Paper to make it appear he was sitting on some glittery snow.

Our little penguin friend is stamp on a scrap of Basic White card then cut with the punch, then I added his little flippers and beak with Pumpkin Pie ink. I popped him up on a couple of Stampin Dimensionals to give him a bit more ‘presents’ 🙂
