Mixed Technique Card with Neutral Layers & Florals

I used a number of different simple techniques on todays card, some stamping, some stenciling and some punch art. I kinda wanted to work with neutral shades rather than bringing in colour. Although I have used a ‘thinking of you’ sort of greeting I think this design / layout would work for any occasion if you change up the greeting and you could bring in other colours as well. 🙂

Punch Art Honey Bee – Vintage Card Idea

Welcome to my Corner of the World

You have probably picked up over the years that I love punches! They are quick and easy to use – I used the Lady Bird Builder Punch to create the sweet little honey bee on today’s card.

While I am very fond of shabby chic/vintage style cards I don’t make them very often as I run out of ideas, however the ink sponging technique with a little water coloring is a great way to start. Read on to see the card and video on creating the honey bee.

Fun Ice Cream Happy Birthday Card Idea

Welcome to my Corner of the World

While we have had a very wet May here in North Texas, when the sun comes out it get hot very quickly. Today we have one of those sunny days, perfect for an ice cream cone which featured on my card today.

We have a few more weeks for the January – June 2021 mini catalog where you can find the Ice Cream Corner Suite. By using the appropriate ink colors I have a mint, strawberry and vanilla ice cream stack!

Ink . Stamp. Share ScrapBook Blog Hop ~ Halloween/Autumn

Welcome to the  Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop,  we are  group of international Stampin UP! demonstrators sharing our ideas and creativity with you.

You will have either arrived from Heike’s  post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME.  This month we have a choice of theme Halloween or Autumn  ~ I have chosen Halloween. As an expat Brit, it is a holiday that was not particularly popular when I left nearly 19 years ago, but it was the first holiday that we experienced when we arrived in October of 2001 and I soon learned how popular it is here in the States!!

Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice.
