Welcome to the Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop, we are group of international Stampin UP! demonstrators sharing our ideas and creativity with you. For this month we are using the rich colors of Autumn/Fall
Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice
I wanted to use the very pretty Metallic and Shimmer 6 x 6 Specialty Paper as it reminded me of falling leaves. I used it as a background to the ‘tree die’ from the Aspen Tree Dies, which was cut from a piece of 5 1/4 x 4 Mossy Meadow Card. This inspired me to choose Cajun Craze as my photo layers, .
My layers needed a little ‘something’ to make them pop so I gently sponged Versamark Ink onto the edges then added a little Gold Embossing Powder, before setting with the Heat Tool. The So Saffron 12 x 12 card makes a great background for these colors.
My embellishments are from the Leaf Labels and Amber Gems Pack – I simply stamped with the ‘dotty’ stamp in the coordinating Perched in a Tree Stamp Set and added embossing powder as before. The other leaves are cut from Brushed Metallic Card with dies from the Aspen Tree Dies,
My title uses the Alphabest Stamp Set – this is perfect for creating labels and titles as each of the letters is a separate stamp – oh so very useful for scrapbooking 🙂
