While I love the traditional red and green colors of Christmas, I sometimes like to pull a few different ones into cards – today I have gone with greens, a traditional Shaded Spruce and paired it with Parakeet Party, then added an easy funfold. To add a little seasonal festiveness I have used the pretty Wintry Embossing Folder and some gold ribbon!

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 Very Vanilla Thick Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
• Layer 1: 4 x 2 1/2 Shaded Spruce Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Wintry Embossing Folder
• Layer 2: 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 Parakeet Party Card
• Layer 3: 4 x 3 Shaded Spruce Card
• Layer 4: 4 x 3 Vellum Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Wintry Embossing Folder
• Ink Color: Shaded Spruce

As you can see the base card is shorter on the front than the back – to ensure it stands up straight the front panel is lines up with the back of the base card and attached with Stampin Dimensionals.

My greeting is from the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set, cut with the Label Me Fancy Punch then layered onto some Parakeet Party Card cut with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. Some gorgeous Gold Shimmer Ribbon and a couple of Basic Jewel Rhinestones adds a nice Christmassy bling!
