Ink . Stamp. Share ScrapBook Blog Hop ~ Hidden Message

Welcome to the  Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop,  we are  group of international Stampin UP! demonstrators sharing our ideas and creativity with you.

You will have either arrived from Jo’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME.  This month are theme is Hidden Message

Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice

I chose a New Year theme for my page this month, my Hidden Message is tucked in the little pocket on the bottom left hand side. I think New Year resolutions should be kept secret, that way if you don’t achieve them no justifications are needed!

I have used some products from the 2022 – 2023 Annual Catalog, 2022 July – Dec Mini Catalog and the 2023 Jan – May Mini Catalog

My base is Basic White Card with a 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 Basic Black mat added – that gave me a place for my photograph as well as 4 corners to decorate. I am absolutely thrilled that Stampin’ UP! has introduced the Alphabet A La Mode Dies in the 2023 Jan to May mini catalog – dies make it soooo easy to create title banners for pages. I used some Gold Foil to cut them out, adding some Adhesive Sheet beforehand so it would be easier to attach them to my page.

I also cut my bottle out of the Gold Foil with the Vintage Bottle Punch, then heat embossed some Basic Black scraps with the coordinating Bottled Happiness Stamp Set and Gold Embossing Powder. The stars are cut using the Witch Hat Builder Punch (which is now out of stock 😦 ) and I added a few gold Festive Pearls for my ‘champagne bubbles’

For my hidden message I made a little pocket out of the last few scraps I have left of the ‘oh so popular’ Lights Aglow decorative paper, using the Scalloped Contour Dies for the top edge as well as to cut the little tag inside and my message on the outside.

Having read thru this I realize there is a lot going on with the page but I had such fun putting it together and will find the perfect photo for it in the New Year.

I know not everyone is into scrapbooking – the various elements on this page can be used to make a great New Year card, check out my card here
