What a great title! As I explain in my video, today’s card has a color combination inspired by a bird we saw during a recent visit to the Dallas World Aquarium, my friend Elly and I watched the bird and recognized each of the colors in terms of the Stampin’ UP! color families.

Well I just had to have a go – so here is the result

• Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Basic Black Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
• Layer 1: 5 x 4 Tahitian Tide Card cut with Deckled Rectangles Dies
• Layer 2: 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card cut with Deckled Rectangles Dies
• Ink Color: Gorgeous Grape and Parakeet Party

I really love the Deckled Rectangles Dies – that rough edge really adds texture so easily. The images and greeting is from the Lovely & Lasting Stamp Set which I have used a lot. I added a couple of the 2022 – 2024 In-Color Matte Decorative Dots which helped pull the Parakeet Party color thru into the flowers.
