Sympathy Cards are really not ones we want to send, especially as we draw nearer to the holiday season. Sadly I have had to send a couple out in the last few days. I think that simple, clean lines are the way to go and today I have paired Pebbled Path with Soft Seafoam and Very Vanilla.
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Pebbled Path Card~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Very Vanilla Card ~ run thru Cut & Emboss Machine with the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder
- Layer 2: 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 Soft Seafoam Card
- Layer 3: 4 x 2 1/2 Very Vanilla Card
- Ink Color: Pebble Path
The stem of leaves stamp is from the Botanical Layers Stamp Set and my greeting from the Something Fancy Stamp set. The little ribbon is Pebbled Path Textured Ribbon attached with a Mini Glue Dot and a single Pearl Basic Jewel to add a bit more texture.
While you might not need a sympathy card I think the design of this one would make a great thank you, thinking of you, birthday card just by changing out the greeting, there are plenty to choose from in both of the stamp sets I used today 🙂
