A new annual catalog is on the horizon and that means some new colors and products to play with. But is also means we will be bidding farewell to the five 2022 – 2024 In-colors. I have enjoyed this bright and vibrant collection of colors, so over the coming few weeks I will be sharing cards made with these as a fond farewell. Today I have paired Sweet Sorbet with Starry Sky.
They will be on the retiring list in a few weeks time, so if you need ink refills to match your ink pads, Blends, designer paper or card stock do not wait! In my 14 years with Stampin’ UP! they have never discounted these items as many times they have a small supply and they run out of stock within hours of the list coming out.
- Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Sweet Sorbet Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Starry Sky Card
- Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Basic White Card
- Ink Color: Starry Sky & Sweet Sorbet
I have used all the in color products, card, inks, ribbons and pearls! I started with the Botanical Beauty Background Stamp, adding Starry Sky across the diagonal on one side then Sweet Sorbet on the other using the Stampin Brayer. Then I added the ribbon before attaching it to the card base with Stampin Dimensionals then adding the Pearls.
As Botanical Beauty is a single, large background stamp I broke out my all time favorite Go To Greetings Stamp set for my greeting, cut with Thoughtful Expressions Dies.
