2024 Flip Over Desk Calendar ~ June

Welcome to my Corner of the World

For the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who come to my classes.  As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2023, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2026 ……….. already!

Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .

So today I share June Meadow, the coordinating card has a quick and easy funfold!

  • Base Card: 5 1/2 x 4 Fresh Freesia Card
  • Calendar Layer : 5 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
  • Layer 1: 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 Highland Heather Card
  • Layer 2: 3 x 2 Basic White Card
  • Ink Color: Fresh Freesia & Highland Heather

The stamp set is Quiet Meadow (which recently retired, but you may have it or something similar in your stash) Sme very easy stamping with a little Brushed Brass Butterfly added for some bling

As I work thru the year some of the products used might have retired, however you may have them in your stash or find a suitable alternative, either way enjoy 🙂

The calendar part is made using the Days to Remember Stamp Set ~ which is cleverly designed to cover all the months of the year. I have a video on how I used it to create my calendar. Check out how I did this

  • Card Base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Gorgeous Grape Card ~ scored @ 2 1/8 & 6 3/8
  • First Layer: 2 pieces 5 1/4 x 1 7/8 Fresh Freesia Card
  • 2nd Layer : 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Basic White Card
  • 3rd Layer: 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 Gorgeous Grape Card
  • 4th Layer : 3 x 2 Basic White Card
  • Ink Color: Fresh Freesia & Gorgeous Grape

I used a simple Gatefold fun fold for this card, adding some tone-on-tone stampin’ on the side panels, but apart from that the center panel is exactly the same as the calendar! The greeting is from the same stamp set, I simply stamped on a scrap of card then trimmed until I had a nice border around it ~ 2 1/4 x 5/8
