2025 Flip Over Desk Calendar ~ January

Welcome to my Corner of the World

Happy New Year Everybody!!!! I hope it brings all that you hope for. I have some significant changes to my life in the last few months, which I will share with you in due course. But for now……………

For the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who came to my classes.  As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .

So today I share, Season of Sparkle, for my January calendar and card

  • Base Card: 5 1/2 x 4 Misty Moonlight Card
  • Calendar Layer : 5 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
  • Layer 1: 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 Iconic Celebrations Paper Pack
  • Ink Color: Misty Moonlight

The stamp set is Sparkling Snowflakes

As I work thru the year some of the products used might have retired, however you may have them in your stash or find a suitable alternative, either way enjoy 🙂

The calendar part is made using the Days to Remember Stamp Set ~ which is cleverly designed to cover all the months of the year. I have a video on how I used it to create my calendar. Check out how I did this

  • Card Base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Misty Moonlight Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
  • 2nd Layer : 4 1/2 x 3 1/4 White Glimmer Paper
  • 3rd Layer: 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 Iconic Celebrations Paper Pack
  • Ink Color: Misty Moonlight

I used a tone on tone stamping technique on the base card before attaching the sparkly and decorative papers, then my greeting cut with the Double Oval Punch. Then a final smattering of Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
