Welcome to my Corner of the World
I am enjoying seeing the days get longer, the snowdrops and daffodils in flower and the trees just starting to show buds where their leaves and blossom will appear in the coming weeks ………. it is March already!!
For the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who came to my classes. As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .
So today I share, St. Paddy’s Day!

- Base Card: 5 1/2 x 4 Lemon Lime Twist Card
- Calendar Layer : 5 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
- Layer 1: 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Old Olive Card
- Layer 2: 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 Basic White Card
- Ink Color: Old Olive and Lemon Lime Twist
The stamp set is Lucky Clover with the coordinating Lucky Clover Punch. I added some green Tinsel Gems to the center of my ‘shamrocks’ and added some super 1/8 gold ribbon trim to add more bling
As I work thru the year some of the products used might have retired, however you may have them in your stash or find a suitable alternative, either way enjoy 🙂
The calendar part is made using the Days to Remember Stamp Set ~ which is cleverly designed to cover all the months of the year. I have a video on how I used it to create my calendar. Check out how I did this

- Card Base: 11 x 4 1/4 Lemon Lime Twist Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
- 2nd Layer : 5 1/4 x 4 Distress Gold Specialty Paper
- 3rd Layer: 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 Basic White Card
- 4th Layer : 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Old Olive Card
- 5th Layer: 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 Basic White Card
- Ink Color: Old Olive & Lemon Lime Twist
