2025 Flip Over Desk Calendar ~ September

Welcome to my Corner of the World

For the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who came to my classes.  As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .

Here we are on the cusp of autumn, the leaves are starting to turn here in the UK. So today I share, September pumpkins and rustic leaves, with a very easy fancy fold for the card alternative.

  • Base Card: 5 1/2 x 4 Crushed Curry Card
  • Calendar Layer : 5 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
  • Layer 1: 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Cajun Craze Card
  • Layer 2: 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 Iconic Celebrations Decorative Paper
  • Layer 3: 2 7/8 x 1 7/8 Basic White Card
  • Ink Color: Cajun Craze, Versamark and Gold Embossing Powder

The stamp set is Thoughtful Wishes. I added some gold embossing and embellishments to bring a little extra bling

As I work thru the year some of the products used might have retired, however you may have them in your stash or find a suitable alternative, either way enjoy 🙂

You can check out the heat embossing technique here

The calendar part is made using the Days to Remember Stamp Set ~ which is cleverly designed to cover all the months of the year. I have a video on how I used it to create my calendar. Check out how I did this

  • Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Crushed Curry Card scored @ 5 1/2
  • Layer 1 : 5 1/4 x 1 7/8 Crushed Curry Card ~ run thru embossing machine with Exposed Brick Embossing Folder
  • Layer 1: 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Cajun Craze Card
  • Layer 2: 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 Iconic Celebrations Decorative Paper
  • Layer 3: 2 7/8 x 1 7/8 Basic White Card
  • Ink Color: Cajun Craze, Versamark and Gold Embossing Powder

I cut the front of the card down the fold for 2 1/8″ then across the front. I trimmed this spare piece down for Layer 1 (above) then attached it to the card with some Stampin Dimensionals after embossing it.

The greeting is from the same stamp set and it is heat embossed with gold. A little Linen Thread to add extra texture and a few of those gold embellishments to cap everything off.

Supplies: All products used in this card are from Stampin’ UP!

As I have now retired as a Stampin Up Demonstrator I will know longer be sharing links to the supplies, however there are lots of wonderful demonstrators around the world who would be glad to help you with finding them. 🙂 Please note that I am not endorsing any particular products nor am I being compensated for using them. I am sharing an idea and hope that you will be able to use products from your own stash to create a similar card 🙂
