A few days ago I shared my first idea for Christmas in July card idea, today I have chosen some contemporary colours which maybe could be used for the various holidays around the end of the year that are not Christmas. Check out the video and scroll down this post to see the little change I made after I switched off the camera !

• Base Card: 10 x 7 Night of Navy Card ~ scored @ 5″
• Layer 1: 6 3/4 x 4 3/4 Decorative Paper
• Inside Layer: 6 3/4 x 4 3/4 White Card
• Ink Color: Night of Navy

The poinsettia is created from some vellum using a ‘no name’ die, both from my stash.

After I completed the video I made an additional flower and looked at adding it to the card ~ I really liked the effect so added it with a couple of glue dots to hold it in place
