For the last 5 – 6 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who came to my classes.  As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month and included a video to show how I went about making the card.

So today I share, Autumn Toadstools – which I think would make a great masculine card!

• Base Card: 5 1/2 x 4 Crushed Curry Card
• Calendar Layer : 5 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
• Ink Color: Copper Clay, Poppy Parade & Crumb Cake

As I work thru the year some of the products used might have retired, however you may have them in your stash or find a suitable alternative, either way enjoy 🙂

The calendar part is made using the Days to Remember Stamp Set ~ which is cleverly designed to cover all the months of the year. I have a video on how I used it to create my calendar. Check out how I did this

I added a little ‘tone-on-tone’ technique for some more interest to the card base. This can be done with a clear watermark ink or an ink that is the same color as the card.

• Card Base: 11 1/2 x 4 1/8 Crushed Curry Card ~ scored @ 5 3/4
• 2nd Layer : 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Copper Clay Card
• 3rd Layer: 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 White Card
• Inside Layer : 5 1/2 x 3 7/8 Vanilla Card
• Ink Color: Copper Clay, Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake & Versamark
