Celebrate Today Week ~ # 4 Wedding card with Video

Welcome to card #4 of my week with the ‘Celebrate Today’ stamp set When looking at all the pieces in this set it came a  surprise to me to see ‘wedding’ as one of the greetings –  had not really associated balloons and weddings before – so I took it as a personal challenge!

There is also a video for this one……………….!!!!!!!!!!

Celebrate Today ~ #1

The Celebrate Today Stamp Set was introduced in the 2015 Occasion catalog back in January – and it was included in the 2015 – 2016 Annual Catalog that came out in June.  I was looking for inspiration for a birthday card and picked up the set….. just to see what ‘vibes’ it would give me………. although the set has a balloon theme it also has a bunch of greetings that would celebrate most life experience occasion…… birthday, baby, wedding and graduation.

While I made the birthday card – which I will share, I also thought it would be a great opportunity to create a week of cards using this set……. so here is #1……..

Baby themed Frame Art

I just love to do home decor pieces from paper, ink and embellishments and framed art is probably my most favorite thing.

Last year some ladies and I got together to make one of these for another friend on the birth of her first child, a few weeks ago my friend, Jennifer and I made another for one of the other ladies in that little band of happy stampers.   This fits a 9 x 9 frame from IKEA, I took the photo before putting it in the frame because of the reflection of the glass…… it looked so good when it was finally assembled.

If you have a special occasion you would like to commemorate – let me know, I will be happy to work with you to design/make a piece of frame art to treasure forever!

I wanted to make some party favours for New Year and decided to use an idea of Connie Stewart’s from Simply Simple Stamping to make them in the shape of a slice of pie, and since I was using different shades of blue I have dubbed it ‘blueberry pie’  Continue reading
