Today’s card showcases the new Blessings of Home Stamp Set with the whitewash technique. It uses the Copper Embossing Powder and ink refills to create this very feminine birthday card.
It is very relaxing to do a little watercoloring, I have included a video to help explain things a little better 🙂
Continue readingTime for a card for the guys in our lives – I am not very good at these so when one pops into my head I grab it very quickly before it fades away! I used the Mountain Air Stamp set paired with the Beauty of the Earth Designer Paper which has lots of ‘leafy’ designs to go along with the trees and mountains in the stamp set.
Continue readingI have used the Forever Fern Stamp Set such a lot – I love those leaves and there are some lovely greetings to go along with them. Today I have paired it with the Bloom Where You’re Planted Decorative Paper, which itself has lots of leafy designs that work well with the stamps.
The ‘to a friend that makes me smile’ greeting is just so lovely – it can work for a birthday, thinking of you, get well or just because card – it just covers a host of different occasions.
Continue readingThis is such a very easy fold to do – by simply cutting the front slightly shorter than the back it allowed me to use the vertical ‘Happy Birthday’ from the Celebrate with Flowers Stamp Set, so it would be visible with the card closed. I have paired Granny Apple Green with Poppy Parade ~ a very bright and fresh combination.

Continue readingA change of theme for today – with Thanksgiving and Christmas on the horizon we are going to need some thank you cards. I chose to feature the Seashells 3D embossing folder, just adding a simple greeting so the details of this embossing folder do not get lost. I am thinking this would make a really good masculine thank you card…….. change out the greeting and it would be a perfect masculine birthday card as well!!

Continue readingMy posts have been a little tardy this last week due to a bad case of allergies and asthma that landed me in urgent care yesterday morning when I should have been writing my post!! Well I am now dosed up with antibiotics and steroids (one of which was in my ‘sit-upon’ ) and ready to go again 🙂 I like to write my posts within 24 hours of posting them so I know I am including the most up to date information -so I don’t prepare them days or weeks in advance.
I have shared before that masculine cards have always been a bit of a challenge for me – well for someone who loves flowers and sparkles that is understandable I guess, but the Campology Stamp Set is a great one for the guys and that is what I am showcasing today!

Continue readingI love the watercolor effect the Artistically Inked Stamp Set gives, a great texture stamp, flowers and leaves and 4 very useful greetings. Today’s card uses this set and is the result of a color challenge I took part in a few weeks ago the result is a very pretty feminine card.
