Ink . Stamp . Share Blog Hop ~ Pick a Suite

Once again I am thrilled to be taking part in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop, we are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity! You will also notice our hop has a new look for the New Year – how great is that?

You will have either arrived from Donna’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . This month our theme is ‘Pick A Suite’ where we can pick any of the beautiful suites in the Jan – Jun 2022 Mini Catalog to create a project to share with you.

Card Base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Crumb Cake Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 2 3/4 Heart and Home Designer Series Paper

Layer 2: 5 1/4 x 1 1/2 Basic White Card to stamp the greeting

Layer 3: Heart and Home Doily run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Hive 3D Embossing Folder

Ink Color : Smoky Slate

I chose to go with the Heart and Home Suite from the Jan – June 2022 Mini Catalog – it has colors that that are a bit out of my comfort zone plus I ‘cased’ one of the cards on in the catalog, such a great source of inspiration and I am very fond of shabby chic – with just a little changes to make it my own 🙂

My floral stem and greeting is from the Blessings of Home Stamp set with the coordinating Flowers of Home Dies. I used Stampin’ Blends to color my floral stem, I am not an expert by any means but I think it kind of works. The colors I chose were Light and Dark Fresh Freesia for the main flowers, Light Balmy Blue for the little ‘forget-me-knots, Light Mango Melody for the flower centers and Light and Dark Granny Apple Green for the leaves.
