Sympathy cards are ones we would really rather not send – but when we do they can bring so much comfort to those who receive them. I have created an easy fun fold card with nice soft colors, if you change out the greeting it would make a pretty, feminine birthday, thank you or thinking of you card.

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Smoky Slate Card ~ scored at 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 4 x 2 3/4 Fresh Freesia Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder
• Layer 2: 3 3/4 x x 2 5/8 Rich Razzleberry Card
• Layer 3: 4 1/4 x 2 1/2 Smoky Slate Card ~ cut from front panel of Base Card
• Layer 4: 3 1/8 x 2 Basic White Card
• Ink Color: Rich Razzleberry and Smoky Slate

To create the ‘one-sided’ front to the card base I cut along the 4 1/4 score line for 2 1/2″ then cut down to the edge of the card – the spare piece I used to for layer 3 which was cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

The ‘scripty’ stamp is from the Very Versailles Stamp Set and the greeting from Prized Peony. Using scraps of Rich Razzleberry and Fresh Freesia to create the flowers with the Flowers and Leaves Punch then some Smoky Slate card with the Sprig Punch.
