Shoe Box Swap ~ my card

Since I hosted a paper share earlier last  month it made me think a lot more about using it instead of saving it.  I am not at all sure what I am saving it for, but I just see a sheet that I love and just cannot bring myself to cut into that pristine 12 x 12 piece of loveliness – so my resolution from now on is to use it!

Back in February I was invited to a shoe box swap – never done one before and was not at all sure what I had committed to…….. but once I had, I decided the focus of my card was to be Designer Series Paper!  I shared a bunch of cards from other ‘stamper’s in earlier posts.

Multi~paneled using Birthday Blooms and Timeless Textures ~ Video

From time to time I am asked to make a card for a particular occasion – I love to do commissions!  I ask a few questions about the recipient….. color preferences, ornate, lots of bling, gender etc and then I start to put it all together.

This is a recent commission – I have done this style before and it starts with a piece of cardstock 12 x 12 and thru scoring and folding its finished size in 6 x 6.

I have included the link to the original video at the bottom of the post…. enjoy!
