I like to use traditional red, green and gold for my Christmas cards, but sometimes, for a change, I like to go toward the blues, white and silver!. The Snowflake Splendor Suite has the perfect products to create my card today using just those colors.

Continue readingHappy December! Today I am mixing a little Christmas with a thank you card, we are all going to need to be sending thank yous over the coming weeks, and how much nicer would it be to send a card rather than an email or text! and I think this would be the perfect card to send.
Poinsettias are so ‘Christmas’, it is the only time we see them in the shops! I was playing around with the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set, just randomly stamping the petals on a sheet of Very Vanilla Card, before too long I had covered it with petals, leaves and little berries……. and voila I had a one sheet wonder!

As an ex-pat Brit now living in North Texas, Thanksgiving is not a holiday that I was familiar with until we moved here just over 19 years ago. While it is a day for food and football it is also one for quiet reflection, thinking of the things that we are thankful for and I shall be doing just that!

Continue readingWe are in Thanksgiving week and while this year has not been the best there are things to be grateful for, starting with the health and wellbeing of family and friends, followed by having a roof over our heads and food on the table.
Today’s card features the Gather Together Stamp Set with the co-ordinating Gathered Leaves Dies. I love that stem of corn in the set as well as the cute little pumpkins and I used both on this card.
Continue readingWe have had some unseasonally warm weather here in North Texas, just last week we were out walking in shirtsleeves musing that it would never have been possible to walk without coats in November when we lived in our native UK! Well the weather has started to cool now and by all accounts we are due a cold front in the coming days, so it is time to think of some seasonal cards.
I am using the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set for today’s Christmas Card along with some blues and greens and a twist of Snowflake Splendor Ribbon which has a very pretty iridescent effect.

I have used the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set along with my very favorite Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pen, to color the pumpkins, leaves and berries.
