We are in Thanksgiving week and while this year has not been the best there are things to be grateful for, starting with the health and wellbeing of family and friends, followed by having a roof over our heads and food on the table.
Today’s card features the Gather Together Stamp Set with the co-ordinating Gathered Leaves Dies. I love that stem of corn in the set as well as the cute little pumpkins and I used both on this card.
- Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Cajun Craze Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2.
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Very Vanilla Card (for inside)
- Layer 2: 5 1/4 x 2 Mint Macaron Card ~ run the the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder
- Layer 3: 4 x 2 1/8 Cajun Craze Card (see note below)
- Layer 4: 3 7/8 x 2 Very Vanilla Card
- Scraps of So Saffron Card and Brass Foil Sheet
- Ink Color: Mint Macaron and Cajun Craze
The base card has had a piece removed from the front of the card ~ I cut down the score line for 2 1/8 ” then cut across the card to the edge. I then trimmed the piece removed 4″ to form layer
The greeting is cut using the Tasteful Labels Dies – I can’t tell you how many times I have used this set – it is so versatile. The leaf is cut from the Brass Foil Sheet – these dies not only cut but also embosses the veins at the same time.
A little twist of the Braided Linen Trim, attached with a Mini Glue Dot.
