Continue readingYou all know that I love the decorative paper packs, I find them inspirational especially when it comes to color combinations. Last November I was able to go to an all day Stampin’ UP! event in Arlington TX, there I was gifted an pack of Like an Animal decorative paper – which has all animal prints. To be honest it is not something I would choose to have but I put on my thinking cap and came up with a simple design featuring the paper with some lovely Polished Pink card and ribbon (soon to retire)

Continue readingOne of the ladies in my Stampin’ UP! team recently promoted to Bronze Elite, it was my absolute pleasure to make and send a card to celebrate her achievement. I reached for the Copper Foil straightaway and paired it with Very Vanilla Card and the Two Tone Flora Dies. I was really thrilled with how it turned out and hope she liked it as well.

Continue readingI recently hosted a paper share for the specialty papers in the Jan – May 2023 mini catalog, where each participant received a 6″ square of these beautiful papers. In order to provide some inspiration I used a couple of the papers along with the Two Tone Floral Stamp Set and coordinating dies to create a couple of cards LIVE on my You Tube channel.
Continue readingToday’s cards are full of techniques – one sheet wonder, two-step stampin’ masking and die cutting. They were created ‘on the hoof’ during a recent You Tube Live I did – I literally did not know how my card was going to turn out when I started but I sure was thrilled at then end by the result!

I love the eclectic images and the greetings which are just perfect for a growing passion of mine – the vintage shabby chic style. Continue readingMy color combination for today’s card was inspired by a flower arrangement in the hotel lobby where we stayed for a wedding in Calistoga CA last spring! I saw it and immediately thought So Saffron, Garden Green and some deep Blackberry Bliss roses. I jotted it down in my notebook and finally got around to using it with the Sending Smiles stamp set.
