This was one of the cards from my October card class earlier this week. I used a tri-color technique for the image and then sprinked it with clear embossing powder before applying the heat tool. It gave the image a very subtle shine.

October Stamp Set of the Month
October’s stamp set of the month kits are ready to go to their new homes.
Each of the packs contain the supplies to make 4 completely different cards with the ‘For All Things’ Stamp set. This kit includes the stampin’ dimensionals and a piece of sponge for the sponging technique! and a video tutorial for each card.
2014 ~ Buttons and Bows, October’s share
The new 2014 ~ 2015 Stampin’ Up! catalog brought a new selection of ribbons and embellishments. Each year I host a ‘share’ which I call ‘Buttons and Bows”- which runs over 4 months. Last month I shared Septembers selection of goodies and I thought I would share those for this month!

When I packed up our house in June and July my last thought was about the upcoming holidays. I usually decorate for the autumn, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, suddenly September arrived and all my holiday decorations were in deep storage, now it is October and my decorations are still in storage…….. something had to be done………..!
