I am currently hosting a Stampin’ Up marker share. There are 38 markers in the Many Marvellous Markers case (with room for the 10 In-colors) It can be a little bit on the pricy side to make the $109.95 investment in one go – but a ‘share’ over 4 months can be much more manageble ~ each member of the share recieves all of the markers inone of the color families each month and on one month will also recieve the fantastic sturdy storage case. Watercolor Wonder from Stampin’ Up
I like to try new techniques and to revisit ones I have tried before. Watercoloring a design on a card is hugely satisfying. At first people are a little daunted by ‘coloring in’ but with the right tools it is very easy. I wanted to feature how many different types of ink Stampin Up offered and the different ways they can be used, so I put together a stamp camp where we made 12 cards (2 each of 6 designs) and then to present them in a box which would make a great gift. Mixed Bunch Wedding Congratulations
A very dear friend of my Mum’s got married last week ~ a perfect reason to make and send a card. Stampin Up’s Mixed Bunch stamp set was one of the most popular when it was launched a couple of years ago, partly because it is very versatile but also, I think, because there is a punch that works with all 6 stamps. I have to say that I prefer a punch to ‘fussy-cutting’ any day of the week. So here is my card……… Continue reading
Flower Shop for Mother’s Day
Here in the US we celebrate Mother’s Day on May 11th this year. In the UK it was celebrated in March. Before I started to make cards myself I was always struggling to find cards to send back to the UK for our Mum’s, in fact one year I bought some Mother’s Day cards in May and tucked them away until the following March! It is so much easier now that I make my own cards. So this is ‘ card for this year and one of the projects for my April card class. Continue reading
The final flourish ~ a gift tag!
We spend a lot of time thinking of the right gift to buy for that particular occasion in the family or friends lives, we go shopping, we choose and we wrap, but sometimes the humble gift tag gets overlooked! Continue reading

Happenings ~ Simply Created Card Kit
The Happenings ~ Simply Created Card Kit is a great kit for stampers at all experience levels. It contains the supplies to make 15 cards – the only extra supplies needed is some adhesive, stamp set and ink pad or marker pen.
I decided to make a video to show how quick and easy it is to put these cards together, the kit would make a great teacher appreciation gift or for young person to make up some cards as a handmade gift for their teacher. Continue reading
Creative Elements Cards
I needed cards for three different occasions, “Happy Birthday’, ‘Happy Anniversary’ and ‘Congratulations’ for a new grandchild. I decided the same design would work but using different colors and to change the layout of the ‘card candy’ (a new term I just learned, meaning embellishment!) The stamp set was Stampin Up’s Creative Elements ( and we just heard today this set is being retired and is now only available while stocks last!) see the bottom of this post for a great ‘free shipping’ offer 🙂
You’re Lovely Card Box meets Everything Eleanor Hostess Gift
I just love it when I can take one idea to the next level, but when I can take two ideas and put them together… WOW…… it make me a very happy stamper! I needed a couple of ‘Thank you ‘ gifts for two ladies that had been very supportive during tax season so some monogrammed notecards were the perfect solution. Continue reading
