I recently hosted a paper share for the specialty papers in the Jan – May 2023 mini catalog, where each participant received a 6″ square of these beautiful papers. In order to provide some inspiration I used a couple of the papers along with the Two Tone Floral Stamp Set and coordinating dies to create a couple of cards LIVE on my You Tube channel.
Continue readingSt Patrick’s Day is quite a big thing here in the US, so the Lucky Clover Stamp Set is perfect for this, however the 4 leaf clover is supposed to bring luck so this is a great set for sending good luck wishes particularly as we are coming up to exam season, how lovely it would be to receive a card right before you sit those exams!
Having said all this I did choose to use Green and Gold for this quick and easy card
Continue readingOnce again I enjoyed designing and making my flip over calendar for 2023, with the help of my friend, Elly – while she was visiting from the UK in October. . As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2022, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2024
I am changing things a little for this year, I recognise not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .
So today I share, Shamrock Luck! where I have created some shamrocks using heart shaped dies.

Continue readingWe have a 14 year old grand-daughter – it is an age where I find it difficult to hit the right spot between a childhood theme and one for an adult!! Not surprisingly (for me) I chose to do something floral but bright and cheerful for a young woman. It also has a very quick and easy fun fold for which I made a video ….. just to show you how quick and easy it is!!

While I was warm and snug indoors it did look a bit bleak outside and I needed to think about something a sunny and bright – so today’s card uses the Tropical Hideaway Stamp with some bright and happy gold heat embossing.
Continue readingToday’s cards are full of techniques – one sheet wonder, two-step stampin’ masking and die cutting. They were created ‘on the hoof’ during a recent You Tube Live I did – I literally did not know how my card was going to turn out when I started but I sure was thrilled at then end by the result!
