Welcome to my Corner of the World
St Patrick’s Day is quite a big thing here in the US, so the Lucky Clover Stamp Set is perfect for this, however the 4 leaf clover is supposed to bring luck so this is a great set for sending good luck wishes particularly as we are coming up to exam season, how lovely it would be to receive a card right before you sit those exams!
Having said all this I did choose to use Green and Gold for this quick and easy card
- Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Garden Green Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 2 Daffodil Delight Card
- Layer 2: 5 1/4 x 3 Basic White Card
- Decorative Strip: 5 1/4 x 1/2 Gold Foil
- Ink Color: Garden Green and Crushed Curry
I did a little tone-on-tone stamping with the Crushed Curry ink on the Daffodil Delight Card – just to give it a little texture. After stamping on the Basic White layer I attached both pieces to the card base with Liquid Adhesive then attached the fold strip over the top to cover the join.
The Shamrock is cut using the coordinating Lucky Clover Punch, which is sadly no longer available, however it would be very easy to fussy cut with some paper snips, before attaching it with a couple of Stampin Dimensionals. I added a gold Milky Dot to the center to finish everything off.
I hope you enjoyed the card I shared with you today, I love what I do and spend many hours working on designs, new projects, new ideas and much more.
