When the August – December 2020 Mini Catalog was released one of the first stamp sets I set my heart on was Joyful Holly – I just loved all the ‘curlicues’ which are so graceful and elegant. So understandably I have used it on quite of cards this year, including todays card.
This is quite a simple card, some paper, stamps, ink and a couple of punches, with a little bling of course, you cannot have a Christmas card without some sparkle, can you?

Continue readingHave you looked at the different designs in the ‘Flowers for Every Season’ Designer Series Paper? It literally does have flowers for Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, and the winter one features poinsettias, which I have used for today’s card along with the Gift Wrapped Bundle which has the Gift Wrapped Stamp set with the coordinating Bow Builder Punch.
Don’t forget the Giant Year End Closeout where there are deep savings on August–December 2020 Mini Catalog products – just click on the pink purse to the right and it will take you right to my on-line store:-)

And that is exactly what I have done today, I had some scraps of the Ornate Garden DSP left over from the all- day crafting retreat I had in October, so out came the Rectangular Stamp Punch and a little Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
Don’t forget that Stampin’ UP’s Year End Clearance starts today – click the pink purse to the right to check out the deals available!!
Continue readingI like to use traditional red, green and gold for my Christmas cards, but sometimes, for a change, I like to go toward the blues, white and silver!. The Snowflake Splendor Suite has the perfect products to create my card today using just those colors.
Continue readingToday I am letting the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP) do all the hard work on this masculine card. I have shared with you before that I do find it a challenge to make card for the fellas so this pack of paper with its huge variety of textured patterns is perfect for these
This is a quick and easy card, using my paper trimmer and a couple of punches, along with the Here’s A Card Stamp Set.
Continue readingHappy December! Today I am mixing a little Christmas with a thank you card, we are all going to need to be sending thank yous over the coming weeks, and how much nicer would it be to send a card rather than an email or text! and I think this would be the perfect card to send.
Poinsettias are so ‘Christmas’, it is the only time we see them in the shops! I was playing around with the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set, just randomly stamping the petals on a sheet of Very Vanilla Card, before too long I had covered it with petals, leaves and little berries……. and voila I had a one sheet wonder!
Continue readingI hope all my US followers enjoyed their Thanksgiving weekend. We spent a very quiet day and I sketched out some ideas for future classes and blog posts.
We are on the threshold of December, so I am sharing a traditional style Christmas card using Merry Merlot and Old Olive for my basic colors.
