Welcome to my Corner of the World
I love to use the Designer Series Papers (DSP) on my cards – they give me color combination ideas and sometimes are the focus of my card. However – there always seems to be little scraps left over – far too beautiful to throw in the bin, so why not make them part of a card?
And that is exactly what I have done today, I had some scraps of the Ornate Garden DSP left over from the all- day crafting retreat I had in October, so out came the Rectangular Stamp Punch and a little Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
Don’t forget that Stampin’ UP’s Year End Clearance starts today – click the pink purse to the right to check out the deals available!!
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Mint Macaron Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Scraps of Mint Macaron Card and Ornate Garden Specialty DSP
- Ink Color: Memento Tuxedo Black
My greeting is from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set, because I wanted a nice, elegant script, however you could use this design for a birthday, thank you or a simple and heartfelt ‘Hello’
I used the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder to put some texture on the Mint Macaron card then a few of the gold Metallic Pearls to finish off. I really like the simplicity of this card – how about you? Let me know in a comment below.
I hope you enjoyed the card I shared with you today, I love what I do and spend many hours working on designs, new projects, new ideas and much more.
