September’s Stamp Camp Trio

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
September’s Stamp Camp had three new designs.  The first in traditional colours with a contemporary design (thank you Connie Stewart for the inspiration!)  The second card featured a glitter encrusted tree in delicious Midnight Muse and Soft Sky card and finally the mellow greens of Always Artichoke and Pear Pizzazz with a silver embossed ornament just popping off the card.

October’s Camp brings three more designs, two are complete – the third is still on the drawing board.  October’s camp is on the 18th and 19th ~ you choose the  date that works for you – call me for more details and to reserve your place.

Not able to come to my classes?   ~  contact me about a kit.  Not into card-crafting but love my designs? ~ contact me about buying some completed cards 🙂

August Christmas/Holiday Card Stamp Camp

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
These were the cards we made in the August Camp.  Each person  made 3 of each card, including decorating the envelopes.  The left hand card features both heat and dry embossing in classic vanilla and gold.  The centre card has the traditional Christmas colours of Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green and silver.  I just loved the contemporary colors of Crisp Cantalope and Cake Crumb cardstock in the right hand card.

There is one more Holiday card camp for 2013 on October 18th and 19th.

July 4th, Holdiay Frame Art

July 4th, Holdiay Frame Art

Frame measures 10 x 8. All embellishments are handmade/stamped. Lots of patriotic red, white & blue with some glimmer paper for the ‘sparkle’ to represent the Star-Spangled Banner. The piece of cream card stock running from top to bottom at centre-right represents the Declaration of Independence.

Halloween Frame Art

Halloween Frame Art

Halloween Framed Art – home decor project. Measures 12 x 12 with lots of ‘spooky’ colours and images, pumpkins, candy corn, ‘Casper’ the ghost with his cute witches hat, googly eyed spiders with cobwebs. All the pieces are made from either cardstock or ribbon and the embellishments are all handmade/stamped. It is attached to a 14 x 14 magnetic board with small magnets so it can be swapped out as each season passes.

Punch Art Bear Baby Card

Punch Art Bear Baby Card

We welcomed a new member to our family last week. Made this congratulations card to send to her parents. The bear is made from using different punches and the pieces are sponged before assembly. (the pattern for the bear was from a talented paper crafter in Australia but sadly I cannot find her name – thanks so much for the inspiration 🙂 )

Heat Embossed Vellum Card

Heat Embossed Vellum Card

One of the layers of this card is made of vellum which I ‘shadow’ stamped with Crisp Cantaloupe ink, sprinkled with clear embossing powder then set with my heat gun. The underlayer of the card is stamped with Tangerine Tango on Very Vanilla card stock. This gives a pretty 3D effect. The fussy-cut flower is heat embossed in pewter then attached with a stampin dimensional. I used the Fabulous Florets stamp set
