Embossing Paste Technique # 2 ~ Heat Embossing video tutorial

When the 2017 – 2018 Annual Catalog was launched in June there was a new product tucked away on Page 201 ~ Embossing Paste!  It was on my first order and I was so excited when it arrived, however I was also excited about the other goodies that arrived in the same box!  I set aside the pot of paste and to be honest it went from my mind – especially as Christmas themes started.

I was tidying my workbench (it happens….. rarely but it does happen!) and there was the pot of Embossing Paste waiting patiently for my attention.  What fun I have had with this product, as I explored what could be done with it I thought a few video’s would be fun to share.  Here is the  second of my series where I will share how to Heat Emboss your Embossing Paste! Best Friends ~ Happy Wishes

Today I am sharing another card made with one of the Sale-a-bration Stamp Sets, this time I have chosen Happy Wishes.

This is a super bumper set with 16 stamps that allow you to build up practically any greeting you might need ~ birthday, anniversary, best wishes, be happy, for you…. just so versatile.  I also chose to use one of the Sale-a-bration ribbons and an embossing folder from the new 2018 Occasions Catalog. Painted Harvest Lions

We have a brand new Occasions catalog but we can still get the Painted Harvest Stamp Set and that really cute Cat Punch, both of which I used to create this card.  I used the one of the greetings from the stamp set but it would make a perfect birthday card for a child I think.  This card also uses a couple of products from my stash that get overlooked, the Starburst Punch and the Wood Texture DSP Stack.

Happy Retirement

Today is the first day of my dear sweet husbands’  retirement.  He started work at 16 years of age, put himself thru college and has provided for his family ever since, often working long hours and travelling a lot of miles.

We plan to spend the coming years travelling a lot of miles together and seeing something of this country we now call home. Continue reading
