I think I have said on other occasions how much I like autumn colors and the natural feel of burlap and wood and I am always drawn to anything in those colors!
I don’t spend a lot of time on Pinterest – I find that time just disappears when I start clicking around but a few weeks ago I was letting my fingers ‘do the walking’ and came across a wreath from a UK Stampin’ UP! demonstrator which just called my name and I could not resist casing it. As always I had to put my own little spin on it.
One of the great things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is our twice annual get together where we get to see what new things are happening withing the Stampin’ UP world – I have just got back from Salt Lake City UT where I spent 3 days with 2500 other SU demonstrators and members of the Corporate Team.
As I said this is a chance for Stampin’ Up! to share new things and BOY did they have a great one for us this time…………………….. Continue reading
Rather than just have Thanksgiving projects during November and Christmas during December I am going to mix things up a little and scatter them over the coming weeks.
Today I have a really cute Christmas themed shaker card – unusually for me I have used 3 stamp sets on this one but it gave me the effect I was looking for. Continue reading
We have had some Christmas and Autumn themed projects recently so time for a little change, I trawled along my stamp shelf and picked out the Fairy Celebration Stamp set, which I have not used nearly enough.
The set has some lovely images just perfect for coloring so I broke out my Watercolor Pencils to make a birthday card for Grand-daughter #3; as her birthday is the day before mine it is an easy one to remember! Continue reading
Halloween is now behind us and Thanksgiving will be in a few weeks. I have always loved autumn colors, the gentle mellowness of the lovely golden based tones.
The Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper is filled with Crushed Curry, Early Expresso, Cajun Craze and Tangerine Tango. Today I have two cards showcasing this paper and the coordinating Painted Harvest Stamp Set. Continue reading
I love to make 3D items, particularly ones that hold treats and even more particularly when those treats are chocolate.
In keeping with an autumnal theme I made these treats for the ladies who came to my one day Stampin’ Getaway in October, each lady found one on her work table when she returned from lunch.
While they look a little involved they really are very easy to make, to prove it I have made a video for you to follow 🙂 Continue reading
Over the last few months I have been using the Alphabet Framelit Dies for a lot of projects for my classes and for my recent 1 day Stampin’ Getaway projects.
This is a set with 37 pieces, 26 letters and 11 punctuation marks and symbols, perfect for making banners. pennants as well as the very popular Eclipse Technique – I shall be sharing some cards using this technique in later posts 🙂
It is such a useful set to have but at $99 plus shipping and tax it is a little on the expensive side for one hit……….. SO ……… I am excited to offer a SHARE………………..
Goodness – here we are, nearly at the end of October ~ tomorrow will be All Hallows Eve ~ another Halloween and another cute card to share using the Peekaboo Slider Card fold.
Once again I used one of Stampin’ UP!’s bundles ~ Spooky Cat ~ which will give you the Spooky Cat Stamp Set and Cat Punch I used for this card at a 10% discount! Continue reading
Good Friends are hard to find…………. a perfect sentiment for those times when you want a special card for a special friend.
The Lovely Friends stamp set has 2 large sentiments then about 8 or 9 smaller ones – all in a graceful cursive script. The other stamps allow you to build up the beautiful flowers, using a two-step stamping technique. Continue reading
