I just love this little guy! I have made quite a few cards using the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set and coordinating Hippo Dies – and I think this is my favorite! I can certainly see this as a great card for littlies in our lives.

Continue readingI made this card earlier this year, I just love this little guy and chose colors I thought would appeal to the littlies in our lives. It uses a two-step stampin’ technique and to ensure I lined everything up properly I used my Stamparatus.
I think if you change out the greeting it would make a fantastic new baby card or even an anniversary card – the possibilities are endless.
Continue readingMost crafters do more than one craft, papercrafting is my first love closely followed by embroidery – mainly counted cross-stitch these days although I used to do a lot of free-form embroidery back in the day!
My great-niece turned 6 at the beginning of this month so I decided to marry my two favorite crafts together by stitching a small piece then building a card base to fit it in – it was a lot of fun I might try it again sometime!
