Today’s card is probably the most versatile one I have ever put together! I think it would work great for the fellas in our lives, sympathy, get well, thinking of you, a ‘just because’ sort of card – just about anything – don’t you agree?

The images and greeting is from the Love of Leaves Stamp Set and I used the coordinating Stitched Leaves Dies to cut the little gold leaf accent.

If you follow my blog regularly you will know that I love flowers, they are always the first things I think of when making a card or designing a scrapbook layout. So it will not surprise you that as I write this I am waiting on the delivery of the Pansy Petals Suite from the new 2021 -2022 Stampin’ UP! Getting a handmade card when you are feeling ‘under the weather’ gives you such a boost, someone must be thinking about you which is bound to lift your spirits a little.

This is the fifth of my videos on techniques using the Stamparatus and it features 2 step Stampin’….. and a sneak peak of  the Wishing You Well Stamp Set which is in the ‘soon-to-be-released’ 2018 Holiday Catalog. The Stamparatus is Stampin’ UP!’s latest tool  and an absolute must have for all stampers.  It helps you perfectly align your stamp images, stamp multiples of the same project quickly and accurately and gets complete ink coverage – ‘cos you can do a ‘do-over’ as my video today will show.

Sweet & Simple ~ Healing Hugs

Today’s card is another in my Sweet and Simple series where I have set myself a little challenge using a small amount of equipment and supplies – kind of like one of those cookery shows where you are given 3 or 4 ingredients and you have to turn it into a spectacular 4 course meal!

The stamp set is Healing Hugs and I have used my new favorite combination of Soft Sea Foam and Gray Granite.  This stamp set is perfect for ‘get well’ cards which we hope we never have to make and send but when that time does happen this is a lovely set to have to hand. Continue reading →
