Getting a handmade card when you are feeling ‘under the weather’ gives you such a boost, someone must be thinking about you which is bound to lift your spirits a little.
The Healing Hugs Stamp set is perfectly named and has the most beautiful rose stamp that is very life-like. This set contains a couple of images that are called DistINKive stamps that have been especially created to do the shading with just stamping once!

Card base: 11 x 4 1/4 Flirty Flamingo Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
Layer 1: 5 x 3 3/4 Smoky Slate Card
Layer 2: 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 Whisper White Card
Ink Colors: Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive
I stamped the flower first then positioned the leaves, then attached a length of 1/8″ Old Olive Sheer Ribbon before attaching it to the Smoky Slate layer with Mulitpurpose Liquid Adhesive, then onto the Flirty Flamingo card base with 4 – 5 Stampin Dimensionals.
The greeting is cut with 2″ circle punch and layered onto Smoky Slate cut with the Starburst Punch and again attached with a couple of Stampin Dimensionals. The little bow is attached with a Mini Glue Dot then a little scattering of Silver Metallic Pearls to finish off. 🙂 So bright and uplifting – perfect for someone who is feeling not so good.
