New Babies –

Last October we got some new neighbors, a delightful young couple who told us they had just found out they were expecting TWINS! …….. and she seemed so calm and collected about it!  They arrived in mid-April ~ a little girl and a little boy.  My grandmother used to refer to this as a ‘pigeon pair’ I had no idea why – so I just looked it up……………… Twins of opposite sex, boy and girl: so called because pigeons lay two eggs which normally hatch a pair of birds, a male and a female……. absolutely fascinating that nature will take care that there are not more ‘hims’ than ‘hers’

I needed a card of course, but I am ashamed to say I don’t have much in the way of baby themed stamps – so had to improvise a little – here is what I came up with….. Continue reading

On June 7th I shared one of the new suites of products in the 2016 – 2017 Annual Stampin’ Up catalog ~ Floral Boutique ~ I knew as soon as I saw it it would be at the top of my wish list – and so it was – and the first thing on my order when the catalog went live on June 1st.  Since then I have used it a whole bunch and it was the focus of one of my card classes at the end of June. Floral Boutique Suite ~ Stampin’ Up! 2016 – 2017 Catalog

Over the last  4 – 5 months I have been sharing my mission to use Designer Series Paper (DSP) and have  posted a lot of projects here so show my progress.

Well the new Stampin’ Up! catalog was made available to demonstrators in mid April and lots of new designs of DSP were included.  As soon as I clapped eyes on the Floral Boutique DSP and its coordinating products I fell in love.
