I have a monthly class where we explore different techniques using card and ink with some added stamp sets, ribbons and other embellishments. We then use the technique to create a card and a couple of months ago we did one using ordinary wax paper. To be honest, the only reason I have wax paper at all is to use for my card crafting – I think this is the second technique we have done with it and I have a couple more up my sleeve! Sympathy cards are the one type of card that we would really not have to make but they are probably the ones that bring the most comfort to the recipient ~ they know someone is thinking of them at a difficult time in their life.
The Thoughts and Prayers stamp set is a one to have in your stash, not only is it suitable for bereavement it also has some lovely sentiments for get well and thinking of you…. and what can I say about the two images – one the most elegant tree and the other a lovely ‘swooshy’ flowery branch – which I have used on an anniversary card before.
