When I saw the Power of Hope Bundle ~ one of the FREE Sale-a-bration gifts I just knew that I had to create today’s card. The bundle has the Power of Hope Stamp Set and the Stone 3D embossing folder and they really compliment one another. (see below how you can get this bundle for free)
The stamp set has a very strong oriental theme so, black and red are the perfect color combination with some beautiful gold embossing.
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Real Red Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Basic Black Card ~ run thru the big shot with 3D Stone Embossing Folder
Layer 2: with Pagoda ~ 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 Basic Black Card, layered onto 2 3/8 x 2 3/8 Gold Foil, layered onto 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 Real Red Card
Layer 3: with Geisha ~ 3 1/4 x 1 1/4 Basic Black Card, layered onto 3 3/8 x 1 3/8 Gold Foil, layered onto 3 1/2 x 1 1/2 Real Red Card
Layer 4: with tree ~ 2 x 1 3/4 Basic Black Card, layered onto 2 1/8 x 1 7/8 Gold Foil, layered onto 2 1/4 x 2 Real Red Card
Ink Colors: Versamark
I hear a groan going up on all the 1/8 measurements but with the new Paper Trimmer makes is so easy to make these fine cuts and they really do look far better on this card.
The images are all heat embossed with gold embossing powder I even heat embossed the envelope.

All layers are attached together with Multipurpose Liquid adhesive then onto the base card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I decided not to put a greeting on the card – I just don’t think it needs it!
Then a knot of 3/8 Cotton Ribbon attached with a Mini Glue Dot to finish everything off. The card came out exactly as I imagined and I am just thrilled with it!
