Todays card is using the Wild Roses Background Stamp which is just perfect for my Stamparatus, along with the Floral Gallery Dies to create this 3D lettering with Foam Adhesive Sheets.

Soft and Subtle Easter Card

Welcome to my Corner of the World

Spring has sprung, we have sunny weather here in North Texas, and here we are in Easter Week. My card uses the ‘soon to retire’ Gift of Hope Stamp Set, with its peaceful church and dainty floral garland.

I associated Easter colors with green and purple, I don’t know why that would be but they just work for me so Highland Heather and Soft Seafoam feature in today’s card.

Joyful Christmas Holly Christmas Card ~ Video Tutorial

Welcome to my Corner of the World

When the August – December 2020 Mini Catalog was released one of the first stamp sets I set my heart on was Joyful Holly – I just loved all the ‘curlicues’ which are so graceful and elegant. So understandably I have used it on quite of cards this year, including todays card.

This is quite a simple card, some paper, stamps, ink and a couple of punches, with a little bling of course, you cannot have a Christmas card without some sparkle, can you?

Sale -a-bration. ~ You’re Lovely stamp set

A card made for an acquaintance who was recently diagnosed.

imageThe base card is Stampin’ Up’s Blushing Bride card, dry embossed with the Decorative Dots embossing folder then topped with a Tea Time paper doily.

The ‘You’re Lovely stamp set was used for the center embellishment layered on to Sahara Sand card both of which were cut with the Deco Labels Framelits.  Basic Gray ink was used then Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz ink and a blender pen used to water color the flowers.

This was adhered using stampin dimensionals with a twist of 1\4 stitched Blushing Bride grosgrain ribbon and a gentle sprinkling of pearls to finish off. Hopefully it conveys encouragement for her upcoming treatment.

My Project 4-001Happy Stamping 🙂

If you’d like any of the supplies, to shop, or to get a catalog, please feel free to contact me, and if you’re thinking of joining Stampin’ Up! and my team I’d most definitely like to hear from you.

New Buttons and Bows and DSP share

image

I have been a little behind in keeping up with my posts this last week.  Those of you who know me also know that I work as a tax preparer for H & R  Block and this time of year is very busy.  But I have been working on projects for my classes as well as projects for family and friends.

This week the goodies for the share arrived…… Packets of beautiful paper and vellum,  spools of scrummy ribbon and the cutest buttons and clothes pins!

I spent a lovely couple of hours cutting and sorting them all ready to go to their  new homes……… If you would like to join in the next share please contact me….. I will be delighted to welcome you to the club 🙂
