Pretty Peacock is the third of the 5 new Stampin’ UP! in-colors for this year, I have done a little experiencing with some of the other colors in the SU family and have paired it with some Mint Macaron and the scrummy Copper Foil, which in all honesty was the starting point for my card today. I had a piece left from another project, the surface was a little scuffed so I ran it thru the BIG SHOT with the Country Floral Embossing Folder and I fell in love!
Once again I am thrilled to be taking part in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop, we are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!
You will have either arrived from Sue’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . This month’s theme is MONOCHROME. I must admit that when the theme was announced I thought I knew what it meant but needed to check – and this is what I found:
“Monochromatic color schemes are derived from a single base hue and extended using its shades, tones and tints. Tints are achieved by adding white and shades and tones are achieved by adding a darker color, grey or black.”

Then you find the basics such as stock, herbs and spices etc are ‘pantry’ items and it turns out that the meal was made with a whole host of ‘hidden’ stuff we did not know about.

On-Stage (convention) where we had a chance to look and play with some of the products that were coming up in the 2018 Occasions Catalog – one of the projects we made were a couple of tags with the Tutti Fruiti Suite. They are really cute and I bought them home and put them on my workbench – not really sure what to do with them – until last weekend! It came to me ……………. Continue reading
I wanted to make a very simple card, this is not my normal style – I usually like layers, embellishments and some bling, but today I needed simple.
The Thoughts and Prayers Stamp Set has a lovely floral and leafy shishy sort of branch that is so restful and also takes quite a bit of the card front . I chose to use my favorite color combination Very Vanilla and Night of Navy. Continue reading
