In the past I have shared that I love Designer Series Paper (DSP), I have also admitted that I tend to be a bit of a hoarder, always thinking that I will have the perfect project for that ‘some day’ so would save it for another day! I am trying to mend my ways and have been using it more and more!
I shared a card on Wednesday which featured DSP and to prove I am reforming I have another to share today, featuring the ‘In Good Taste’ DSP ~ which has a variety of wood and tile effect prints that make perfect backgrounds as well as focal points.
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Sahara Sand Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Sahara Sand Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder
- Layer 2: 4 1/4 x 2 1/4 Night of Navy Card
- Layer 3: 4 x 2 In Good Taste DSP
- Ink Color: Night of Navy
Today’s card features one of the paper designs that look like tile, in White and Night and Navy which makes really clean and striking focal point. Using an embossing folder to give texture and dimension to a piece of card can take it from ordinary to extraordinary – I really like the Macrame embossing folder at it reminds me of a tile pattern.
I decided to just add a simple greeting from the Artisitically Inked Stamp Set, cut with the Label Me Fancy Punch, which makes this card perfect for pretty much any occasion.
