Thursday June 1st the new Stampin’ Up! catalog goes live and with it our new In-colors. Stampin’ Up has a palette of 40 colors and neutrals but every year we get 5 new colors which are with us for 2 years and then they are gone. I am sad when one set retires but excited that we will have something new to play with. As a demonstrator I get my hands on the new colors before they are launched and because I was able to go to the Demonstator event known as ‘On-Stage’ at the beginning of April I have had some of the new goodies in my hands for nearly 2 months ~ which has given me a chance to have a really good play with them and I shall be sharing more over the coming weeks.
But today a card giving a sneak peak of one of the new in-colors ~ Powder Pink Continue reading
Oh! this was a day I promised myself during tax season ~ to simply play with some card and ribbon and have a good ol’ footle. (an expression my dear Aunt used to do something without a particular purpose but simply to DO!)
During a visit to Lansing MI back in February I saw a fellow papercrafter had decorated a candle and I was so taken with it I wanted to have a go myself.
Its hard to believe that the 2016 ~ 2018 In-colors are nearly a year old! We get 5 new colors each year, some of them I love on sight, others grow on me. Giving a gift card on its own or in one of those cards from the store is never enough for me – so to make a pretty holder to present the card in is a must ~ I have 2 to share today. Continue reading
Earlier this month I shared Craft Project Central’s ‘Creating Pretty Cards #68, where one of the designers for February (Monika Davis) designed a card sketch as an inspiration and challenge for card crafters to create and share their creations (CDC offers prizes for winners 🙂 )
At the time I did not share mine as I was saving it for the launch of some new Sale-a-bration exclusive product, available until March 31st with a $50 product order.
I have really lovely customers who come to my classes and stamp camps and shop for their Stampin’ Up! products with me. I like to celebrate their birthdays by sending a handmade card.
My recent cards have featured the 2016 – 2018 In-Colors as well as the Grateful Bunch Stamp set and Stylized Birthday Stamp. Continue reading
