We were invited to a couple of weddings over the last few months. It is always so difficult to choose a gift – even with a registry list it can be tough – sometimes the happy couple can be left with the high value gifts on their list, so we decided to give gift cards – these can be added together with others and put toward those high ticket items.
Giving a gift card on its own or in one of those cards from the store is never enough for me – so to make a pretty holder to present the card in is a must ~ I have 2 to share today.
Each card holder was made in the colors of the wedding invitation:
Card Base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 ~ scored @ 41/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4
Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4
Night of Navy and Whisper White with silver and pearls. This card used the Detailed Floral Thinlets Dies and the Petal Burst Embossing Folder
Mint Macaron and Crumb Cake with Very Vanilla Ribbon and Pearls. This one used the So Detailed Thinlets Dies with a layer of Falling in Love DSP (most appropriate!)
All supplies are available in my on-line store 24/7 – just click a picture below and it will take you right there.
I hope you like today’s project – please let me know in a comment ~ by using that little link just under the title
