Continue readingI just love this card – not entirely sure what to call the fold but it is sort of deconstructed, just held together by the Blushing Bride/Whisper White layers and 4 stampin’ dimensionals! While this is definitely a feminine card, change out the colors and the flower it would be a great fold for a fella as well (note to self – need to make a masculine version to share!!!)
Here we are just a few short days from Mother’s Day here in the US. I made todays’ card with Mothers Day in mind but it does not actually have any specific mention of Mothers Day – so it would be perfect for a birthday card as well!
Here in the US we celebrate Mother’s Day on May 11th this year. In the UK it was celebrated in March. Before I started to make cards myself I was always struggling to find cards to send back to the UK for our Mum’s, in fact one year I bought some Mother’s Day cards in May and tucked them away until the following March! It is so much easier now that I make my own cards. So this is ‘ card for this year and one of the projects for my April card class. Continue reading
