With Christmas just a week away we are all going to need some ‘Thank You’ cards to send once the big day has passed. Today I have paired Basic Black with Real Red and a splash of Old Olive to create this card using the Artistically Inked Stamp Set. I love the bold combination with that big ‘splodgy’ flower!

Continue readingToday’s card was inspired by my dear friend, Elly, of Ellymentry Papercrafting, in the UK. She did her first facebook live a couple of weeks ago and created a card using a stamp to build up a trellis for her flowers. Well I did not have that stamp so set about working out how I could stamp some thin lines – and viola – it came to me in a flash……… the side edge of an acrylic block would be just perfect!
I used the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set and three ink colors, that’s it so I am going to consider this another of my Sweet and Simple Challenge cards (Click here for more info) Scroll a little further down and you will see my ‘accidental’ stepped up version!
This is the time of the year when lots of thank you cards are needed. Inspired by a post by ‘POOTLES’ I spent yesterday making these using up the remainder of the Season of Style DSP from Stampin’ Up’ I know these are in traditional Christmas colours but as they are thank you’s for Christmas gifts I think they are the perfect colours!
