With Christmas just a week away we are all going to need some ‘Thank You’ cards to send once the big day has passed. Today I have paired Basic Black with Real Red and a splash of Old Olive to create this card using the Artistically Inked Stamp Set. I love the bold combination with that big ‘splodgy’ flower!

• Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Basic Black Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Real Red Card
• Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Basic White Card
• Strip : 3 3/4 x 1/2 Real Red Card
• Ink Color: Real Red and Old Olive

I stamped the little strip first with that cute, little ‘dotty’ stamp – I do love those little space filler stamps! Once attached to layer 2 with a little Liquid Adhesive I stamped the greeting, then the flower and leaves and finally a random sprinkling of more dots to fill in the white space.

The flowers are created using the Flowers and Leaves Punch with a scrap of Basic Black card and the Strawberry Builder Punch with a scrap of Real Red. A little bow using the Real Red Sheer Ribbon and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel just finishes it off nicely.
