So everyone has a birthday – apart from thank you cards they are the ones I probably make most of. I like to keep a stash of cards ready for when they are needed ~ well, that is my excuse for making cards for no specific reason other than to have some crafting time.
The Birthday Blossom stamp set has such pretty images and I am drawn to the lovely cursive greetings that it has. I used it as one of my virtual on-line stamp classes last year and I am thrilled to have used it again in the card I am sharing today. Continue reading
I do love flowers – I grow them in my garden, in the past I have made them out of flowerpaste (gumpaste) and made them from paper.
I have to be very cautious about choosing stamp sets out of the catalog ~ my eyes are always drawn to the flower sets to the exclusion of others, great for me but not everyone has the same passion as me! This month’s set is ‘Birthday Blossoms ‘, with 3 lovely flowering images and 5 very versatile greetings.
This is the fourth card in my mini series using the Sassy Salutations stamp set, which has 6 different greetings in a really zany font. This time using the ‘Thinking of You’ stamp and has a more vintage feel in neutral shades of Crumb Cake and Early Expresso.
